Rhune Stones

Just wanted to do something with ocean. Perhaps it was due to the loss of one of our kittens (hit by a car). The sea and the rock. The sea is fierce and wild, free and untamed but she can be so gentle and always a wonder, like our little peanut-so strong in personality and wild and free. The saddness that crashes over us like the waves of the ocean.
The rock. Strong and immovable. Like me. Unwavered, it seems, by the tragedy. Providing strength to those around me while they mourn the loss of our little furball.
The bird, free to fly. Gazing to a distant shore as Peanut is now free in spirit.
I suppose the metaphor's could go on but I found the painting of this one calming, relaxing and just good for the soul.
